Contract | Days | Onsite | Flexible shift lengths (8, 9, 10, or 12 hours as needed) | Monday through Sunday availability required, including Saturdays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to outpatient chronic renal (ESRD) dialysis patients
- Administer and monitor dialysis treatments in an outpatient clinic setting
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation using EPIC EMR
- Float to additional outpatient dialysis locations in the region as needed
- Adapt to variable shift lengths and scheduling needs based on clinic demands
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient dialysis or outpatient nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required and non-negotiable)
- Reliable personal transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in this area — all-season or snow tires recommended November through April
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working with ESRD and chronic renal patient populations
