Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Full-Time | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-volume operating room environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
• Assist with procedures including total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotic systems
• Document and manage patient information using Meditech/CPN EMR systems
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend on-call (approximately 8–12 calls per 8-week period) with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Self-schedule shifts following an initial orientation scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification required
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Transplant experience (kidney and/or liver) highly preferred
• Spine surgical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
