Ultrasound Technologist – Echo / Ultrasound / Sonographer

Contract | Evening Shift | 5x8 Hours | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography procedures in a clinical setting
• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams to support patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all compliance, safety, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Echo / Ultrasound / Sonography
• Active, unrestricted Ohio state license (permanent license required; compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start date (applies to non-nursing, non-CST travelers)
• No open background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a radiology or cardiology setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
• Experience working within a large health system environment
