Registered Nurse – Oncology (MS/Telemetry)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity unit serving both PCU and Medical/Surgical telemetry patients
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed based on staffing priorities
• Participate in a structured orientation program including an initial week of day-shift orientation followed by on-unit precepted shifts
• Submit self-schedule requests each 4-week scheduling period in accordance with departmental needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to complete required state fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
