Contract | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and holidays | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterile processing duties within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center environment
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with facility standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Epic
- Adhere to all infection control and sterile processing protocols
- Participate in occasional weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Valid Allied health credential in sterile processing (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to work evening shifts including occasional weekends and holidays
- Must meet all travel compliance requirements prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or acute care surgical services setting
- Familiarity with travel contract requirements and compliance processes
- Ability to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
