Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
- Participate in on-call rotation (1 call shift per 6-week rotation)
- Work 1 Saturday shift per 6-week rotation as part of the weekend requirement
- Float to like units within the facility or to a nearby affiliated facility as directed
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Ability to commit to on-call and weekend shift requirements
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience charting in Epic
- Experience working in a travel or multi-facility healthcare environment
- Familiarity with acute care hospital protocols and OR workflows
