Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Approximately 36 hours per week with potential for additional hours | Monday through Sunday rotation | Weekend and holiday requirements apply | No block schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all patient age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
• Manage and monitor ventilators and related respiratory equipment
• Deliver care across multiple units including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Birthing Center as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the Epic electronic medical records system
• Administer and manage medications utilizing the Pyxis medication system
• Adhere to a rotating schedule including every other weekend and holidays as required

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or eligibility to sit for the NBRC written examination
• Vermont state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in respiratory therapy specialty
• NICU experience within the last year required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required and non-negotiable

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Newborn and pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Experience in a critical access hospital or similar low-volume, high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Trauma Level 3 facility workflows
