Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective respiratory care through approved patient assessment, diagnostics, therapeutics, and education
• Initiate services based on physician orders and approved protocols
• Deliver treatment and diagnostic patient care services to both critical and non-critical patients across all age groups
• Apply evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system
• Recognize symptoms, drug properties and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required
• Current State of Oregon Respiratory Care License required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire
• PALS required within 90 days of hire
• NRP required within six (6) months of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two (2) or more years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills, including group presentations and complex information exchange
