Key Responsibilities

• Practice at the highest level of RN licensure by providing quality, competent care in alignment with state board of nursing standards and best practice guidelines.
• Assess, plan, organize, and direct nursing functions while collaborating with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to implement individualized plans of care.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their caregivers in a compassionate, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of medical records in compliance with confidentiality and reporting standards.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately based on team member skill level and advocate for patients across the healthcare continuum.
• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, clean working environment in compliance with all applicable policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior RN experience in a rehabilitation care setting.
• Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications.
