Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Carry up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift, ensuring each patient meets the required 3-hour daily therapy requirement
• Provide ADL and IADL training, including use of a fully equipped IADL kitchen
• Accurately track treatment time and charges per patient to meet inpatient rehabilitation compliance requirements
• Utilize equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADL tools
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas OT licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of rotating schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Lymphedema certification
• Neuro certification or neuro-focused clinical experience
