Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-acuity antepartum and obstetrical patients in a 19-bed unit

• Manage patients requiring Magnesium Sulfate therapy and preterm labor interventions

• Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring data in accordance with AWHONN standards

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech and CPIN systems

• Adhere to a 1:5 patient ratio while delivering safe, evidence-based obstetrical care

• Float to other units as needed and fulfill scheduling requirements including holiday coverage as discussed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted

• Minimum 2 years of High-Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum nursing experience

• Current BLS certification

• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

• Demonstrated experience with Magnesium Sulfate management and preterm labor management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification and/or RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in obstetrics

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record system

• Experience caring for high-acuity obstetrical patients in a hospital setting
