Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 3, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Ortho/Spine unit managing post-operative knee and hip replacement patients as well as multi-level spine surgery patients
- Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 across a 26-bed unit
- Utilize Meditech for all clinical documentation
- Operate and monitor unit-specific equipment including CPMs, SCDs, coolers, and walkers
- Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure continuity of care
- Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participation in unit float rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Strong orthopedic nursing background
- Demonstrated compassion and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet a patient experience benchmark of 72%
- Compliance with required dress code: navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Ortho/Spine specialty unit
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience caring for post-operative spine surgery patients
