Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mother-baby couplets on night shift
  • Manage a typical assignment of 4 couplets per nurse during night shift hours
  • Deliver couplet care encompassing both maternal and newborn assessment and support
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective postpartum outcomes
  • Adhere to unit protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of current postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience
  • Previous postpartum couplet care experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Strong clinical assessment skills specific to postpartum and newborn care
  • Ability to manage a high-acuity couplet assignment independently on night shift
