Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating weekends and holiday rotation | Up to 4 on-call shifts per month

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist across a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Robotics, Transplant/Procurement, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN cases
• Operate within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center main operating room environment with 21 OR suites
• Float within scope to support facility needs across like units as required
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage as assigned
• Document and chart using EPIC electronic health record system
• Adhere to all facility protocols, emergency response requirements, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Active NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
• Ability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Neuro cases including spines and craniotomies
• Experience with ENT flap procedures
• Proficiency with Robotic surgery, specifically da Vinci Xi platform
• Familiarity with Transplant and Procurement cases
