Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in high-acuity inpatient settings
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Participate in emergency response and code team activities as required
• Adhere to facility charting standards using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in holiday rotation and may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience, with recent critical care experience required
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
• NBRC (RRT) national certification required and must be in hand at time of start
• Ability to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large hospital setting (300+ beds)
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record charting system
• Experience with neuro diagnostics or specialty respiratory care areas
