Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records using electronic documentation systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
  • Proficiency with Rehab Optima (Net Health) documentation software
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in a post-acute or SNF environment
  • Strong familiarity with Medicare and skilled nursing documentation requirements
