Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit following established clinical protocols and standards of practice
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 during night shift hours
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within the hospital to other units as needed, within scope of practice and at unit leader's discretion
• Complete all required facility onboarding modules prior to orientation start date

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience in the specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed based on skillset

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with EKG interpretation; candidates in select units must pass a facility EKG competency exam
