Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Full-Time | Onsite | Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 on-call shifts per every 6 weeks; holiday and on-call coverage required; occasional coverage at additional local facilities may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, and CEN guidelines
• Achieve patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
• Provide care within a Critical Access Hospital and Trauma Level IV designated facility
• Participate in on-call shifts, holiday coverage, and occasional coverage at nearby facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification (or equivalent)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Ability to work night shifts including holidays and on-call assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting strongly preferred
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
• Experience working in a Trauma Level IV environment
