Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Spine/Med-Surg unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support
- Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
- Operate and manage unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound VACs, and PCA pumps
- Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs across an 18–20 bed unit on night shift
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR or comparable electronic medical record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Burn care experience
- Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
