Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive laboratory testing including Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, and Urinalysis
• Conduct manual testing procedures including Body Fluid and CSF cell counts and differentials
• Perform Rapid COVID and Rapid Influenza testing
• Support Transfusion Services and Central Processing operations
• Deliver time-sensitive laboratory services to patients across a variety of diagnoses and admission/discharge criteria
• Operate within a 24/7 staffed laboratory environment, adhering to established protocols and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Valid ASCP MLT, ASCP MLS, or AMT certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
• Recent proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must be able to comply with state fingerprinting and credentialing requirements in a timely manner

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or acute care laboratory setting
