Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Oncology)

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with solid tumor cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, esophageal cancers, and patients receiving antineoplastic chemotherapy
• Support patients across the full cancer care continuum, from new diagnosis through active treatment and transition to end-of-life care
• Perform telemetry interpretation and monitoring as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention
• Manage true medical-surgical patient issues in addition to oncology-specific care needs
• Float to other Medical Surgical Oncology units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring
• Experience with computerized charting; EPIC required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred, though not required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
