MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 4x8-Hour Shifts (9:30 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform diagnostic radiographic and MRI procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Operate imaging equipment within scope of practice and in accordance with applicable certification and licensure, including medication administration and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and support the daily activities of the Radiology Department.
- Maintain imaging equipment in good working condition through professional judgment and routine care.
- Perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed based on departmental requirements; may include on-call responsibilities.
- Float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities based on skill set and census needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Allied Health with a major or area of study in Radiologic Technology.
- Active ARRT certification required.
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 preferred; Level 2 accepted).
- Experience with GE imaging equipment required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred.
- Level 1 trauma center experience preferred.
