Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT simulations for radiation treatment planning purposes
- Create and fit immobilization devices for patients undergoing radiation treatment planning
- Explain simulation procedures clearly to patients prior to and during the process
- Operate a Philips Big Bore scanner within a single-room department
- Utilize Cerner, Eclipse, and MIM PACS systems to support imaging and treatment planning workflows
- Self-schedule and adhere to block scheduling requirements for simulation appointments
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy)
- Current BLS certification
- Hands-on experience with CT simulation for radiation treatment planning
- Demonstrated experience creating immobilization devices
- Ability to clearly explain procedures to patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Cerner and Eclipse treatment planning software
- Experience with MIM imaging software
- Prior experience operating a Philips Big Bore CT scanner
