Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Contract | Days | 3–12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) | Onsite | 15-week assignment | No guarantee of hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed emergency department including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Manage a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover, delivering timely and effective emergency nursing care
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting to assess, plan, and implement patient care across a broad range of emergency presentations
• Support trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring patient populations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii (must be obtained prior to assignment start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Prior emergency room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Procedural Sedation certification
• TMCC certification
• EMPC certification
