Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to ultrasound students enrolled in credentialed university-level programs, supporting their progress toward graduation requirements.
- Perform the duties of a staff ultrasound technologist in the clinical setting alongside educator responsibilities.
- Fulfill on-call requirements as part of the role.
- Conduct a full range of general and vascular ultrasound examinations independently, often without direct lead guidance.
- Transport ultrasound carts and equipment to patient floors as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based ultrasound experience; no new graduates will be considered.
- Active RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential required.
- Active RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential required.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in both vascular and all general ultrasound examinations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workflow independently and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with GE Logiq ultrasound equipment.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
- Consistent, uninterrupted employment history in ultrasound technology.
