Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients throughout the shift
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Medical Surgical workflows and high-acuity patient populations
