Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:00 | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Medical Surgical or Oncology unit
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform IV insertions and other required clinical skills as part of routine patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and positive outcomes
• Adhere to unit attendance expectations, maintaining reliability throughout the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with IV insertion
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
