Registered Nurse – Outpatient Urology

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with urology outpatient procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies, and bladder installations
• Independently perform Urodynamics tests (performance required, not simply assisting)
• Conduct suprapubic and Foley catheter changes and nurse visits
• Perform bladder scanning and post-void residual (PVR) assessments
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in urology and outpatient clinic settings
• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience independently performing Urodynamics tests
• EPIC charting experience required
• Two professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an outpatient urology or procedural environment
