Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, high-acuity nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document care using electronic health record systems
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in a high-volume emergency setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Availability for every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts; limited time-off requests considered, particularly around holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
