Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts per Week | Start Time 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including Diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke, Carotid Stenting, Peripheral Diagnostic and Intervention, and Structural Heart procedures
- Operate and support advanced procedural equipment including GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, Penumbra, and Shockwave
- Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
- Participate in on-call rotation as part of a team of 2 RNs and 2 Techs, averaging 11–13 call days per month
- Float to prep and recovery areas to support unit flow as needed
- Collaborate with a team of 5–10 physicians and a dedicated Charge Nurse in a fast-paced procedural environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Meditech or similar EMR documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic support devices such as Impella and IABP
- Familiarity with structural heart and peripheral vascular procedures
- Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume Cath Lab setting
