Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU)
• Monitor and assess critically ill pediatric patients, implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity pediatric cardiovascular care
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Work holidays as required per facility policy when holidays fall within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatrics experience required
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment (first-time travelers not accepted unless 3+ years of recent experience)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local travelers are not accepted — strictly enforced)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO will not be honored after an offer is made
• Willingness to work holidays as required per facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred (required for this specialty/facility type)
• 3+ years of recent CVPICU or Pediatric ICU experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
