Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an acute or clinical hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital or acute care environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
