Travel RN – Orthopedic / Spine (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within a large acute care hospital setting
• Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 during night shift hours
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, compassionate care
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using Meditech EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to float between units as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated hospital environment
