Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Title
• RN: Clinic Traveler – Rural Health Primary Care Clinic

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract, 13 weeks, day shifts, 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care within an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments, triage, care planning, treatment, and follow-up
• Manage patient communications through phone calls and portal messages using established protocols
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and other treatments
• Conduct point-of-care testing and CLIA-waived laboratory procedures
• Coordinate care with healthcare providers and support staff
• Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Support quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives

Required Qualifications
• Current Colorado RN license or active compact RN license in good standing
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Rural Health Clinic, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care background
• Experience with immunizations, medication administration, and nursing triage
• CLIA-waived laboratory testing experience
• Support of quality initiatives and patient engagement programs
