Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other/third weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a stepdown/PCU setting with a 22-bed unit and average daily census of 20
• Manage common cases including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Perform and assist with special procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC and administer medications via Pyxis medication system
• Float within the broader hospital system as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/stepdown experience required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a similar patient population (burns, surgical, reconstructive)
• Previous charge RN experience
• Teaching hospital experience
