Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage as required by facility scheduling needs
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations, with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing, with at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open license actions or background hits; clean background required for consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telemetry monitoring equipment
