Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities; establish diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and modify individualized therapeutic treatment plans to alleviate impairments and restore patients' ability to perform daily activities
- Promote injury prevention, overall health, fitness, and wellness across all patient age groups
- Engage in consultation, staff education, and contribution to current physical therapy research and best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including physician orders, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, attendance, and discharge summaries, and ensure timely charge submission
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and orthopedic care
- Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy
- Member of, or eligible for membership in, the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
- Current, active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Colorado, or a permit from the Colorado licensing board while awaiting licensure examination
- Current CPR Certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rural healthcare or clinic setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary patient care team
