OB Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit setting
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy procedures
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and surgical techs to deliver patient care based on acuity and census
• Operate and maintain GE equipment in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Float to other units as needed when census is low, per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in a labor and delivery setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an OB/GYN surgical environment
• Familiarity with GE obstetric equipment and EPIC documentation systems
• Experience in a travel or multi-facility assignment setting
