Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Thursday, 40 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period
• Perform scrub and circulator roles in the operating room as required
• Assist in the recovery room (PACU) as needed
• Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of patient care
• Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for PACU assignments (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
• Prior experience functioning in both scrub and circulator roles within a perioperative setting
