Registered Nurse Operating Room

Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Scottsbluff, NE

Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care in the Operating Room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Manage pre-operative preparations and post-operative assessments
• Respond effectively to urgent situations during procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Nebraska
• Prior experience in Orthopedic or Neuro (Level 1 or Level 2) surgical units
• Experience with weekend and weekday call requirements
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively under performance expectations
• Flexibility to work weekends on call, including 4x10s every 4-5 weekends and one weekday night on call
