Angiography Technologist – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Contract | Days, 4x10 Hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) | On-Call Rotation Required | 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional vascular radiology procedures including peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention, acute stroke intervention, and embolization
• Set up and maintain equipment and sterile field; serve as room circulator and scrub technologist
• Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and accurately monitor patients throughout procedures
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias during procedures
• Operate and maintain PACS, fluoroscopy equipment, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Maintain inventory, stock supplies, and adhere to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Active WV State License required prior to start date (may submit with pending license)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures
• Proficiency with PACS and fluoroscopy equipment
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including approximately 8 days per month with a 30-minute response time and one weekend per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vascular Intervention certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and ultrasound
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
