Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical changes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Illinois or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of emergency department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC or ENPC certification preferred
• Experience working in a critical access or rural emergency department setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
