Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical, cardiac, and surgical complex patients in a progressive care unit.
• Perform high-level assessments, including Q6H head-to-toe checks and charting.
• Administer and titrate medications such as dopamine, Dobutrex, Nitro, Heparin, Cardizem, and others, following physician orders.
• Manage advanced procedures including IV insertion, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, CVC management, and patient mobility.
• Utilize hospital technology including Meditech documentation, Welch Allyn Dynamaps, Phillips telemetry, Pyxis, Hill-Rom beds, and iMobile devices for communication and charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiac/telemetry and/or critical care settings.
• Proficiency with IV insertion, chest tube management, EKG interpretation, and other advanced skills.
• Experience working with complex cardiac and medical patients, including post-surgical and ICU recovery cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac telemetry or stepdown unit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to self-schedule and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Note: This is a night shift position requiring 12-hour shifts on a 3-shift weekly schedule. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, starting from 07/27/2026.
