Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Alexandria, LA

• Full-time, day shift, 8.5-hour shifts

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as cardiac caths, TAVR, and device placements.
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and manage post-procedure care ensuring patient stability and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and ongoing care needs.

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana or compact license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Ability to practice independently in a clinical setting

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a critical care or cardiac unit
• Experience with cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures
