- Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
- San Antonio, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Contract (13 weeks), Days Shift, Mon-Fri 0800-1630, with on-call every other week including weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as Bone Scans, Gastric Emptying, GFR, Meckel’s Scan, Renal, Lymphoscintigraphy Injection, Lung & Perfusion, and GI Bleed studies
- Ensure proper operation of imaging equipment including GE 850, GE 830, and Brivo systems
- Follow established protocols for patient preparation and safety
- Adhere to unit policies and maintain high-quality imaging standards
- Collaborate with the team to provide efficient patient care
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM)
- Current Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine
- Experience with basic scanning techniques
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with GE imaging equipment
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Knowledge of advanced scanning procedures
