Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care for patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, and generalized debility
• Perform medication reconciliation, interpretation of laboratory results, and comprehensive patient health assessments including vital signs monitoring
• Conduct dressing changes and set up aseptic and sterile procedure trays
• Collect and label specimens including capillary, throat, urine (UA clean catch), and perform phlebotomy
• Manage telephone triage and pharmacy calls including patient refill requests
• Float between facility campuses as needed, maintaining consistent quality of care across units

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records – required
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts permitted; study materials are not provided)
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple campuses within the health system as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in acute care rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-operative surgical patient populations
