Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a PCU/Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of 1:3–4 on night shift
- Monitor and care for pre- and post-operative transplant patients (liver, kidney, kidney/pancreas), as well as nephrology and urology patients
- Utilize central monitoring systems and bedside monitors for patients requiring close observation
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Stepdown or related RN experience
- BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
- Familiarity with transplant, nephrology, or urology patient populations
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
