Contract | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a dedicated inpatient children's hospital setting
- Conduct specialized studies including neonatal head ultrasounds, spinal, liver Doppler (all vessels), renal Doppler, renal transplants, extremity venous Doppler, and abdominal studies such as intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendix evaluations
- Perform NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis) and TCD (transcranial Doppler) studies as required
- Document and chart all imaging findings accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with the pediatric care team to support patient care needs within a teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Active BLS certification required
- ARDMS or ARRT certification required
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric hospital imaging including neonatal, abdominal, vascular, and Doppler studies
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric liver transplant imaging
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital environment
