• Respiratory Therapist (Travel)

• Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel / Nights / 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity hospital setting.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment, including GE R860 vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices.
• Perform procedures such as airway management, ventilator adjustments, and oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately within the Cerner EMR system.
Required Qualifications
• North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
• NRP certification
• Prior experience in critical care units and neonatal intensive care units (NICU/Peds).
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
