- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical care nursing in a 36-bed ICU specializing in neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring optimal care delivery according to acuity levels
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records using EPIC charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float as needed to other units based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois nursing license (IL License)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of strong ICU experience
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Ability to adapt to floating assignments and variable shift demands
